24/10/2009 - The rest of the bulkheads and Tail Cone

I had forgotten to countersink the stiffeners on top of the bulkhead.  So I had to countersink and alocrom before riveting this section.

Pretty straightforward

and again, just remember not to rivet some holes as per the plans

a bit of work to-do to get the flanges on the bulkheads shaped to form a cone.  In actual fact to get this really spot on takes a bit of fiddling and time.

Then comes the cut-out for the tail wheel arm.  The template really only gives you a start, you have to make the cut-out fit the welds of the brace.

In the end it comes good, but this section does take some time and there are plenty of write ups on the net explaining frustration as this section does not all seem to fit together to well.

To be honest I am still not happy with this section
